Dhaka: Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani is coming to Dhaka on a two-day visit on Monday (April 22) afternoon. During the visit of the Emir of Qatar, 11 agreements and understandings will be signed between the two countries.
President Mohammad Sahabuddin will welcome him at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. He will meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban on Tuesday morning. At that time, agreements and understandings will be signed between the two countries. Amir will hold a meeting with President Mohammad Sahabuddin at Bangabhaban at noon.
It has been decided to name a park and flyover bridge of Dhaka City Corporation after the Emir of Qatar. The park to be built in Mirpur’s Kalshi Balur field under Dhaka North City Corporation and the road from Mirpur ECB Square to Kalshi Udal Setu will be named after him. The Emir of Qatar will leave Dhaka on a special flight after the tour on Tuesday evening.
In 2005, the then Emir of Qatar Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani came to Bangladesh. After almost 20 years, the current Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani is coming to Bangladesh.
