A discussion meeting on ‘Liberation War, Mujibnagar Government and Sampriti Bangladesh’ organized by the Dhaka University branch of Sampriti Bangladesh was held on Monday (April 22) at RC Majumdar Arts Auditorium of the university.

The University’s Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Professor Dr. Sitesh Chandra Bachar was present as the chief guest.

Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Professor Dr. Sitesh Chandra Bachar said, “Bangladesh is a country of peace and harmony. Anti-independence evil forces are active to destroy this harmony. He appealed to all, including the young generation, to come forward to build a non-communal Bangladesh under the prudent and visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Other speakers highlighted the history of the great liberation war, Mujib Nagar government and freedom struggle and said, “We got independent-sovereign Bangladesh because of Bangabandhu’s strong movement-struggle, immense sacrifice-sacrifice and non-communal leadership.
