The cinema hall of Bogra was closed for a long time. The traditional Jhongkar cinema hall of Dhunat Upazila Sadar in Bogra was once quite popular. But this time, the authorities have started a novel method to increase the number of visitors by opening this hall, which has been closed for a decade.
Hall authorities adopted innovative methods to attract visitors. A packet of biryani is available for free by buying a ticket of 100 rupees.

It is known that in 1984, the cinema hall of Jhangar was built. This hall owned by Isa Khan was doing well in the beginning but at some point it closed down due to lack of visitors.
The movie ‘Lipstick’ starring actress Pooja Cherry and hero Adar Azad is currently showing in the hall. Due to this special offer of Eid films and Biryani, the number of visitors has increased – this is the comment of the authorities.
Imran Hossain, managing director of the hall, said that our hall has 500 seats for visitors. The price of each ticket is 100 rupees. In a special offer, a free packet of biryani is given to every visitor with every ticket.
When asked how long this offer will be open, he further said that this food offer will be open for the next one month.
Currently four shows of the movie ‘Lipstick’ (12 noon, 3 pm, 6 pm and 9 pm) are going on at Jhangar Cinema Hall. However, due to intense heat, the audience is slightly less in the afternoon and afternoon, but the audience is said to be high in the remaining two shows.
