Mohsin Sheikh, an Australian citizen of Pakistani origin, has joined Bangladesh National Cricket Team as a performance analyst. After working on a temporary contract during the tour of New Zealand last year, Mohsin Sheikh got the responsibility of the performance analyst of the Bangladesh team on a full-time basis. He will work with the Tigers for the next two years. Jalal Yunus, head of BCB’s cricket management department, confirmed the news of Mohsin’s appointment. known, Contract with Mohsin from May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2026. Prior to this, three ODIs and three Ts on the tour of New Zealand last year–He worked as an analyst for Shanto in Twenty20. Bangladesh has not had a permanent analyst since last year’s World Cup. Former national cricketer Nasir Ahmed served as an analyst in the Test series against New Zealand at home. Later on the request of the team management, Mohsin was given responsibility for the tour of New Zealand. Mohsin then worked for Khulna Tigers in BPL. Later BCB did not give him responsibility for the full series against Sri Lanka at home. BCB analyst Shaun Jahan worked in that series. After about 4 months, Mohsin signed a full term contract with Bangladesh. He has long experience as an analyst. 2003–In season 04, he started working with age-based teams at Pakistan’s National High Performance Center. Then he migrated to Australia. Mohsin got citizenship of that country due to work. He has worked with several teams in Big Bash. This Australian of Pakistani origin was with Rajasthan Royals in 2009 IPL. He also worked in PSL at different times. Before Bangladesh, he last worked for Afghanistan national team. He was an analyst for Afghanistan in last year’s Asia Cup and World Cup.
