The first meet up program of Director and Actor Guild Rajshahi has been completed through various arrangements.
The event concluded with a grand celebration at Pimpra Entertainment and Convention Center on Saturday, April 21 in the city’s Padma Bank.
The program is divided into three parts. In the first part, the introduction phase and distribution of identity cards and t-shirts to members of the organization.
Then the discussion session started. At the beginning of the discussion, Director and Actors Guild Joint Secretary AH Rajeev spoke about the goals and objectives of the organization.
Director of Shortcut Tauqeer Shaikh discussed his experience of working on OTT platform by making web series in Rajshahi.
Then Rajshahi TV Journalism Association General Secretary Golam Rabbani discussed. He talked about the role of media in Rajshahi films.
Rajshahi Film Society President Ahsan Kabir Liton discussed the film movement and film society.
Film personality Monis Rafique talks about the potential of Rajshahi’s films going from country to country.
The Rajshahi University Film Society President said that the quality of Rajshahi films will be improved if the issues of Rajshahi films are developed. Sajjad Bakul.
Rajshahi University Mass Communication and Journalism Department teacher Mamun Haider emphasized on research based work on film.

Shahriar Chayan, secretary of the organization, discussed what is needed to make the industry in Rajshahi and urged everyone to work as a team and wanted a film center in Rajshahi.
Waliur Rahman Babu, the president of the event, said that if everyone has to work together, then we will make a full industry in Rajshahi. The discussion ended with this statement. Film makers and actors of Rajshahi were present on this occasion.
In the third part, the chief guest who cut the cake was distinguished educationist, adviser to the Prime Minister and writer and researcher who received the Bangla Academy Award in Folklore. Abdul Khalek.
He said in his speech, “Although I am an academician, I am very weak in culture, so I am and will be with this organization.”
After that the cultural evening started in which Rimjhim cultural group also performed popular band Anveshar of Rajshahi. Saimoom was the host of the show. After the cultural program, the entire event was concluded with dinner.
