The press club of Kishoreganj upazila of Nilphamari has arranged admission of a poor and talented student in the medical college.

On Sunday (April 21) noon, the student’s medical college admission money was officially handed over to his mother.

It is known that when student Lajim Hossain was very young, his father Farid Hossain was diagnosed with cancer. His father’s treatment left the family destitute. After the death of his father, Lajim Hossain’s studies are about to stop somehow. Then, on the advice of his uncle, the mother taught her son in a kindergarten school. Son Lajim passed the HSC and got the opportunity to get admission in the dental department of Rangpur Medical College Hospital after passing the admission test in different places, but his mother could not afford the admission. After receiving the news, the local press club took all responsibility for the admission of Lajim Hossain.

Press Club President Abu Hasan Sheikh (Hasan Tana), General Editor Shamim Hossain Babu, Senior Vice President Shahjahan Siraj, Associate General Secretary Khademul Morchalin Shakir, Organizing Secretary CSM Tapan, Finance Secretary were present when the admission money was officially handed over to Lajim Hossain’s mother. Mizanur Rahman, member Mohi Uddin Mafi, teacher Azad Hossain etc.

In a brief discussion earlier, the press club promised to always stand by the talented student.
