UAE receives record rainfall in 75-year history Bangladesh Consulate in Dubai and Bangladesh Association Sharjah have distributed food items among expatriates affected by floods caused by this rain.

On Saturday (April 20), Bangladeshi-dominated areas in Sharjah were visited and food and drinks were distributed among more than 500 hundred expatriates.

Consul General of Bangladesh Consulate BM Jamal Hossain met the Bangladeshi citizens and expressed sympathy and solidarity on behalf of the Consulate.

He called on Bangladeshi businessmen to come forward to help the affected expatriates.

During the visit, the Consul General assured the flood victims of the Consulate’s commitment to provide cooperation and assistance during this challenging time.

Bangladesh Consulate Ladies Group President Abida Hossain, Bangladesh Association Sharjah President MA Bashar, Labor Councilor Md. Abdus Salam, General Secretary of Sharjah Society Engineer Karimul Haque, Md. Jahangir, Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Press Club UAE Mamunur Rashid, Parevaj, Rupu and other social organizers and media workers.
