Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen said that Indian Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra may come to Dhaka at the beginning of next May.
On Sunday (April 21), he said this while facing journalists at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The foreign secretary said, due to some problems they have been postponed for the time being (the visit). But it is scheduled to be rescheduled early next month.
When asked whether India’s foreign secretary is coming to invite Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to visit Delhi, Masood bin Momen said, “I cannot say that.”
When Quatra comes to Dhaka, the main meeting will be with Masud Bin Momen. When asked what issues could be discussed in the meeting, the foreign secretary said, “When we sit at our level, we discuss all the issues.”
Bangladesh is scheduled to hold two bilateral dialogues with the United States this year. When asked whether they will happen or not, Masud bin Momen said that it will happen.
It should be noted that the Foreign Secretary of India was supposed to come to Dhaka on April 20. But due to unavoidable reasons, the trip was postponed.
