According to the sources of Indian media Hindustan Times, the actor has fixed the remuneration between 100 crore and 150 crore rupees. In other words, Allu Arjun increased the salary by 50 percent in one jump.
South Indian movies are setting records one after the other at the Indian box office. Not only at the box office, but also at the awards stage, southern cinema is doing well. Therefore, Indian cine trade analysts are looking positively at the increase in remuneration of South Indian actors. Also, the Rs 1,000 crores earned by ‘Pushpa 2’ before its release is believed to be one of the reasons for increasing Allu Arjun’s remuneration.
‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ has a budget of Rs 500 crore. Even after four months of release, the Indian media reported that the movie has already earned thousands of crores of rupees. The film’s theatrical rights in North India have grossed Rs 200 crore. And property sales in South India are Rs 270 crore. In other words, it has earned 570 crore rupees since the release.
Also, OTT giant Netflix bought the streaming rights of ‘Pushpa 2’ for Rs 275 crore. At the same time information about the audio and satellite rights deal was also given and it was said that the makers earned Rs 450 crore from it. Thus, the movie earned Rs 1,295 crore before its release.
