BNA Desk: India won by 101 runs against Afghanistan in the exit match from Asia Cup. Afghanistan scored 111 runs for 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs to play the target of 213 runs given by India.
From the beginning of the innings, the batting line of Afghanistan was twisted by the Indian bowlers. They lost wickets at regular intervals from the start and their dreams of victory turned gray. Apart from Ibrahim Zadran’s innings of 64 runs off 59 balls, no other batsman could benefit much. Apart from Rashid Khan’s 15 and Mujibur Rahman’s 18 runs, no other batsman could reach double figures.
