Hours of ‘catastrophe’ in the skies over Mississippi. A nine-seat small plane took off from the province’s Tupelo airport. After reaching mid-air, the pilot of the plane started threatening that he will crash with the plane.
A 9-seater plane takes off from Tupelo Airport around 5:00 a.m. local time. Within moments, Air Traffic Control (ATC) was informed that the plane was about to crash into a shop. After that, the police were informed. Police contacted the pilot. The driver said he was crashing with the plane at a shop.
Hearing the demand of the pilot, the police started to clear the shop and its surrounding area. People were also evacuated from the surrounding area after the shop was evacuated. The plane is still circling in the sky. Everyone has been asked to avoid the area until the ‘all clear’ signal is given.
It is learned that the pilot flew a ‘Beachcraft King Air 90’ aircraft. The nine-seater aircraft has two engines.
