Durga Puja in Bengal is crowned by UNESCO Heritage. An official procession has been organized on Thursday to thank him. In the presence of the Chief Minister, representatives of UNESCO will also participate in the colorful padayatra in Kolkata. According to sources, by 2 pm, the procession will start from Central Avenue near Jorasanko Thakurbari and reach Red Road via Kolutola, Boubazar, Chandni Chowk, Dorina Crossing, Rani Rasmani Avenue.

According to police sources, small vehicles will run on that route till the start of the rally. However, bus and minibus movement will be controlled. OK, buses and minibuses going from North Suburban or North Kolkata to Dharmatala will take a turn from Panchmathar junction in Shyambazar, go through APC Road, Sealda, Moulali towards the destination.

According to Kolkata Police sources, several roads will be closed on Thursday for the Durga Puja thanksgiving procession. In that case, to go to North Kolkata, take Bentinck Street, Rabindra Sarani, Strand Road. There will be no parking on Strand Road. Central Avenue will be closed from 1pm to 4pm. If you want to go to Howrah, you have to take the Strand Road. Red Road will be closed for 24 hours.

According to police sources, the direction of traffic will be diverted after understanding the situation. Adequate security arrangements have been made around the Durga Puja thanksgiving procession.
