News Daily Digital Desk: Crowded streets. That’s a beautiful tableau. And on top of the tableau is ‘Pushpa’ star Allu Arjun. Such videos have spread on social media. The caption is again claiming that the South superstar is campaigning for the Congress ahead of the Lok Sabha polls. Is it really so?

Answer, no. It is not. So what about ‘deep fake’ videos like Aamir Khan and Ranveer Singh? Or a case of Solapur Congress candidate Praneet Shinde using Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘look a like’ Ibrahim Qadri? None. In fact, this video is not for Congress propaganda. An old video of Allu which is being shared is spreading wrong information.

A little search on Netdunya will reveal that this video of Allu is from the year 2022. And taken in New York. India Day Parade was organized by expatriate Indians there. And the southern star went as the grand marshal of this parade. Allu’s wife Sneha was also there. She was wearing a mustard color saree. The national flag was in hand.

It should be noted that fake videos of stars are being circulated on social media to heat up the vote market. Sometimes ‘deep fake’ is used for this, sometimes old videos are spread with fake information. On Monday, Ranveer Singh lodged an FIR against his viral ‘deep fake’ video with the Crime Branch of the Mumbai Police. There is no response from Allu yet. For now, the star’s fans are waiting for the movie ‘Pushpa: The Rule’. Directed by Sukumar, the film will release on August 15.
