Arvind Kejriwal was given insulin this time in Tihar Jail. According to jail authorities, the blood sugar level of the Delhi Chief Minister reached 320 on Monday night. After that it was decided to give him insulin. Sugar-controversy has started around Kejriwal for the past few days. His party Aam Aadmi Party (UP) has repeatedly alleged that Kejriwal’s blood sugar levels are much higher than required. But he is not being given insulin. Kejriwal was also heard making the same complaint.
Blood sugar levels are too high, requiring insulin. Aam Aadmi Party (UP) chief Arvind Kejriwal’s lawyer approached Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court alleging that jails are not getting proper treatment. The AAP leader’s plea was to be allowed to speak to his family doctor daily through video conference. On Monday, however, the court rejected his plea. But it also ordered the AIIMS, Delhi to constitute a medical board to examine his health.
A few hours after that order came, Kejriwal’s health was checked in jail and it was decided to give him insulin. Sourav Bharadwaj on behalf of AAP said, “It is clear from this that our Chief Minister was absolutely right. But Tihar jail authorities were threatening him. BJP people say now, if insulin is not really needed, why is it given now?”

Incidentally, on March 21, Kejriwal was arrested by the ED in the Delhi Excise corruption case. After being in ED custody, Delhi Chief Minister’s current address is Tihar Jail.
