According to the police, Rajaram contacted Abhishek’s assistant. After that he went around from the front of Abhishek’s house. The Kolkata Police held a press conference in Lalbazar explaining Rajaram’s link with the Mumbai attacks. According to the police there, their preliminary investigation showed that when the mastermind of the 26/11 blasts, David Coleman Headley, went to Mumbai, he met Rajaram. Rajaram introduced himself to Headley as the leader of a political party. Headley was assured by Rajaram that he would meet several other important political leaders.

According to the police, the same Rajaram came to Kolkata and stayed in a hotel in Shakespeare Sarani area. He left Kolkata from two days there. But somehow he got the phone number of Abhishek and his assistant. He expressed his desire to meet after that. Abhishek does Reiki at his home and office premises. The reason why Rajaram did this is being investigated, said the police. Police started investigation against Rajaram based on complaint at Shakespeare Sarani police station. A police team made the arrest from Mumbai on Monday. He is being brought to Kolkata.
