Abhijit said, “Those who are eligible candidates have been deprived. They have been cheated by this lying chief minister. Hindus and Muslims are among the deprived. Everyone should boycott Mamata. He should resign now. I feel bad, I am in the state of such a chief minister. He indulges Jochchuri. If you have any shame, you should resign. Elections should be held under President’s rule.”

Abhijit joined the BJP on March 7 after resigning from the post of High Court judge. BJP has fielded him from Tamluk constituency in the Lok Sabha elections. He is currently in Tamluk for promotion. From there, he welcomed the High Court’s verdict on Monday.

SSC Verdict: About 26 thousand jobs canceled, full salary refund of expired jobs also ordered

SSC: The division bench did not cancel the job of a single person, only Soma was excluded from the list

Abhijit said, “The judicial system of our country usually keeps itself away from injustice. Judges of Calcutta High Court have also done the same. Now is not our happy day. While I was judging, lawlessness was caught. Caught again. The court has given an appropriate verdict.

It should be noted that Abhijeet has an important role in the progress of the SSC case. He was the first to hear the case and ordered the cancellation of 8161 jobs. That order was upheld by the Division Bench also. Later the state went to the Supreme Court. From there the SSC case was again returned to the High Court. The apex court ordered the completion of the trial by May by constituting a special bench. The process was completed in three and a half months. The court adjourned the verdict after the trial on March 20.

The division bench of Calcutta High Court Justice Debanshu Basak and Justice Mohammad Shabbar Rashidi announced the verdict in the SSC case on Monday. The entire recruitment process of 2016 has been cancelled. As a result, the jobs of 25 thousand 753 people have been cancelled. The court said that those who got jobs even after the expiry of the SSC panel, will have to return the salary with interest within four weeks. The interest rate will be 12 percent per annum. This judgment in the SSC case is considered to be a big blow to the state government in the midst of the Lok Sabha elections. After the verdict, Abhijit fired cannons against the state.
