According to local sources, Sarada Girls’ School in Dakshineswar is now conducting Class XI test. According to the rules of Higher Secondary Education Council, only those students who have 75 percent school attendance can sit for the test. The school authorities claim that the attendance rate of 6 female students of eleventh grade is less than fifty percent! That is why it has been decided not to allow them to sit for the test. And that’s the case of Tulkalam.
The headmistress of Sarada Girls’ School said, ‘Very unfortunate. Not setting a good example at all. The students who ignored the sun and rain, bad body, came to school, took classes, what did they do wrong? They will also pass the test, and those who don’t come to school day after day.. Anyway, even if it’s a medical ground where they can’t sit for the test, they tell me. I can’t do it’.
The headmistress complained, ‘The counselor also came, Naveen Ghoshal. He threatened to kill himself while sitting here. He said he will set fire to his body. He said he will beat him.
