Hamas’s al-Qassam Brigades claimed it had destroyed six Israeli tanks and killed several soldiers since Sunday morning with Yassin-105 missiles.
In a series of statements on the Telegram channel, the brigade said its fighters destroyed an Israeli tank northwest of Gaza City with locally-made Yasin 105 missiles. The group also claimed to have destroyed two Israeli tanks in Tal al-Hawa (south of Gaza City) and three more in Beit Hanun (northern Gaza Strip).
They also said, ‘This morning and last night there were armed clashes with Israeli forces in the northwest of Gaza. At this time a tank was destroyed by Al-Yasin 105 missile. The fighters confirmed that they killed several soldiers at close range.
On Saturday, a spokesman for the brigade said in a recorded speech that Palestinian forces had completely or partially destroyed 24 military vehicles in the past 48 hours.
On the other hand, the Israeli army has confirmed that 30 of its soldiers have been killed in Gaza since the start of the ground operation.
Meanwhile, on Sunday evening, Salama Maruf, the head of the public relations department of Hamas-ruled Gaza, said that for more than an hour, there has been intense bombardment around various hospitals. Particularly heavy bombardment took place around Al Shifa, Gaza’s largest hospital.
Earlier on Sunday, at least 14 people were wounded in an Israeli attack near Al Quds Hospital in Gaza City and the hospital building was damaged in the attack.
Since the start of the war, the Israeli military has claimed that Hamas has been using hospitals in Gaza for military operations against Israel. However, the Palestinian Liberation Organization has denied this accusation of Israel.
