Yemeni newspaper Adan al-Ghad reported that Ali started growing ‘horns’ on both sides of his head when he was 100 years old. The ‘horn’ gradually grew on his cheeks. The ‘horn’ had two curves. And because of this ‘horn’, he had to suffer from various physical problems.

The ‘horn’ on the left side of Ali’s head was large. The right side was short. Ali became known all over the world because of these ‘horns’ growing on both sides of his head. Local media reports claimed that Ali’s family decided to amputate the ‘horn’ as his problems continued to worsen. It is claimed that he died soon after that surgery. However, a source close to Ali’s family claimed that Ali was suffering from various physical problems due to age. He could not bear the pressure after the surgery. As a result he died.
