Ryan was sentenced to 14 years of rigorous imprisonment, with no possibility of parole. British Columbia Supreme Court Justice Kathleen Kerr announced the sentence on September 21.
Vancouver’s Law Enforcement Department told local media that the actor has been in police custody since 2020. The ‘A Woompy Kid’ actor was initially charged with first degree murder, but the judge found him guilty of second degree murder. Ryan has been undergoing mental health treatment since his arrest.
According to the report of ‘Deadline’, after the shooting death of the mother, he had a plan to kill the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, and even planned a massacre. The 24-year-old actor appeared in a Vancouver court last March and apologized for his actions.
