Desperate to save the series against Ajid, Rohit will make two changes to the Indian XI today

Bangla Hunt News Desk: India will face Aaron Finch’s Australia at the Jamatha Stadium in Nagpur today in a bid to save the series. India won their last two matches against England and Bangladesh at this stadium. The last time India lost a T20 match here was in 2016. India could not chase New Zealand’s target of 127 runs.

However, Nagpur usually gets big runs on this pitch and there is a big chance of that trend continuing this time as well. The weather in Nagpur will give India an added advantage in this match. Both the teams will be playing in Mohali in fairly warm and humid weather which will undoubtedly give the Australian team some momentum. Along with hot weather, there is also a chance of rain.

The Indian team could not defend the run after losing the toss in the first match and batting first. So today, if the toss is won, it is very likely that Rohit Sharma will decide to bowl first if there is no big advantage for the pacers on the pitch. And today, Jaspreet Bumrah, the number one player of the Indian team, can return to the team. Also wicket keeper Rishabh Pant can also be seen in the playing XI. Rahul Dravid will not want to lose the series at home.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been very poor in the death bowling in the last few months, but he may still be seen in the team today to utilize his early swing. Harshal Patel returned to the field after recovering from injury in the last match. If not, Umesh Yadav may be left out. Along with that, Panth may have returned to the team in place of experienced wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik.

Indian XI for 2nd T20I: Rohit Sharma, Lokesh Rahul, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Akshar Patel, Harshal Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Yashpreet Bumrah
