The Wall Bureau: Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway (Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway) is becoming a nightmare for people. Earlier this month, Cyrus Mistry, one of the country’s industrialists, died in a road accident on this highway near Maharashtra’s Palghar. A terrible accident happened in the last 24 hours on the same road. A total of six people lost their lives in two separate road accidents.
A similar accident happened at the same place last Monday and Tuesday. While overtaking the tempo, the car hit the divider and overturned. Three people died in this accident on Monday night. Three more people lost their lives in a similar accident on Tuesday.
It should be noted that Cyrus Mistry was coming to Mumbai from Ahmedabad on September 4. Suddenly, his car lost control and hit the divider of a bridge near Palghar in Maharashtra. Besides Cyrus, there were two other people in the car. Cyrus died in that accident.
Why are accidents happening repeatedly in the same place (Road Accident)?
According to local sources, the road is being repaired. As a result, the wheels fall into potholes and accidents occur. Police of Palghar police station have started investigation by filing a complaint against the company which is responsible for the road maintenance work.
Whose fault? There is a debate about this. According to many, there are frequent reports of such accidents because the speed of the car is uncontrolled. Many people blame the bad condition of the road for this accident.
