Khas Desk: Partha Chatterjee and Kalyanmoy Gangopadhyay will be produced again today in the SSC recruitment corruption case. Earlier, the CBI had taken former education minister Partha Chatterjee into their custody from the ED. On the other hand, CBI has arrested the former president of Madhya Shiksha Parshad Kalyanmoy Gangopadhyay.
According to CBI sources, the two accused will be produced in the Alipur special CBI court on this day. The CBI may apply for the custody of Partha-Kalynamoy in the second round today as the accused did not get a coherent answer in the interrogation.
Incidentally, CBI had earlier arrested Partha Chatterjee, Arpita along with former SSC advisory committee members Shantiprasad Sinha and Ashok Saha and Kalyanmoy Gangopadhyay in the SSC recruitment corruption case. Multiple explosive allegations have been made against the accused. Recently, Kalyanmoy Gangopadhyay was arrested by the CBI for not being able to give satisfactory answers to many questions in addition to inconsistent answers given by the former chairman of the Madhya Shiksha Parshad.

Also, according to the CBI sources, Kalyan used to sign the fake appointment letter. He was directly involved in the corruption case. There were also several other allegations against him. These are, ‘high jump’ job seekers being given appointment letters, names in bug committee reports, etc.
