Silchar: MP and MLA from Shilchar recently inaugurated a health center under Central Government Health Yojana Center at Trunk Road in Shilchar, Assam.

But although English, Hindi and Assamese languages are used in its nameplate, surprisingly, Barak’s official language is not Bangla. The Barak Democratic Youth Front (bdyf) congratulated all those who have already spoken from social media to Barak’s organizations.

In a press release, Youth Front Executive Convener Debayan Dev said that it is really surprising that the elected MP and MLA of the city, whose soil is stained with the blood of 11 martyrs, did not see this matter!

Or maybe they played a silent role to keep the superior ‘bosses’ happy even if noticed. But it is really a good sign that many of Barak’s organizations, including social media, have spoken out against it.

Debayan said that in two similar incidents earlier, the Barak Democratic Front was involved, which created a reaction across the state (Assam) and the wrath of the government came down on them.

Even their chief convenor had to be arrested. He said many people played a silent role then. But this time the response is very promising.

Debayan said that if everyone is united to protect the rights of language speakers, the government will also be forced to be careful in this regard.

Bahar Ahmed Chowdhury, another convenor of the Youth Front, said that at the same time, it is heard that an organization formed by Barak’s Brahmaputra Synod is not taking kindly to this sentiment of the people.

They could not accept the move against MLAs and MPs on this issue and in view of this an emergency meeting was also held yesterday.

Bahar said that although this organization is not in touch with Banga Sahitya and Sanstur Samamanlam, it maintains close relations with Assam Sahitya Sabha.

Bahar said that during the language movement of 1961, a group of brokers from Dishpur also opposed this movement. Bahar said why this organization is silent about the fact that Barak (barak) is repeatedly trying to violate the language law?

He said that people should always be wary of these Mirzafars. Convener Hrishikesh Dey informed this news in a press release on behalf of BDF Media Cell.
