The Indian Border Guard Force (BSF) has not yet returned the body of a Bangladeshi youth killed by the name of Minhaj Islam Minar (17) at the Dainur border in Dinajpur. In this situation, the return of the body has become uncertain.

At 10:30 pm on Wednesday night, BSF took away the body of the Bangladeshi youth after shooting him dead near the border of main pillar number 315 of Dainur BOP.

His body lies in Teliapara area under Harharipur BOP camp in South Dinajpur, India. Such a picture can be seen in a report circulated in the Indian media.

Meanwhile, the family mourned as the son’s body was not returned.

The deceased Minhaj Islam Minar (17) is the son of Jahangir Hossain of village Khanpur Bhitarpara of Askarpur Union No. 9 of Dinajpur Sadar Upazila. Minar is a 9th class student of Khanpur High School. On the day and night of the incident, five friends went to India to get dried fish and turtles.

In this regard, on Friday, Dinajpur-29 Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) captain’s cell phone was called several times, but he could not be found.

Naik Subedar Akhtar Hossain of Dainur BGB BOP told Dhaka Times that we have sent a letter to BSF in this regard. I don’t know much else.
