Gangarampur, September 9: A Smuggler Died in BSF Firing The incident took place on Wednesday night in Hariharpur BOP area of ​​Indo-Bangladesh border under Gangarampur police station of South Dinajpur. A large quantity of cough syrup, about 12 kg of tortoise skin, a duck and 3 sticks were recovered.
According to BSF sources, a smuggling gang of 10-12 people was coming towards Hariharpur BOP around 9 pm on Wednesday. BSF jawans on duty chased the smugglers and they moved towards Bangladesh. Allegedly, the smuggler also tried to steal the weapons of BSF (Border Security Force) on duty. After that, the BSF unit fought with the smuggler Sources claim that the BSF jawan fired at him (A Smuggler Died in Dakshin Dinajpur).
