Central Executive Committee of Bangladesh Diploma Nurses Association (BDNA) has been formed. Chairman of the committee was elected. Mostafizur Rahman and SM Azad were elected general secretary. A meeting of Bangladesh Diploma Nurses Association (BDNA), a partner in the tradition and proud history of implementing the demands of nurses, was held at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital on Friday (September 2). The meeting was presided over by Sabina Sharmin, the president of the organization and managed by nurse leader Md. Nazmul Hossain Milan Shikder and Md. Main Uddin The organizing secretary of the organization, former secretary general of Bangladesh Diploma Baker Nurses Association and vice president of Swabandha Nurses Parishad (SWANAP) SM Azad gave the welcome speech. Nurse leader Hasna Begum spoke. Anishur Rahman, Zarina Khatun, Md. Lutfar Rahman, Mostafizur Rahman Liton, Hamida Khatun, Md. Mizanur Rahman, Israt Jahan, Md. Amimul Islam, Farooq Hossain, Ahsan Habib, Faisal Ahmed, Niaz Makhdoom, Mohammad Asaduzzaman Jewel and the secretary general of the organization and the struggling president of the Freedom Nurses Parishad, Mostafizur Rahman, etc. Nurse leaders representing various health institutions and nursing educational institutions of Dhaka city were also present.

The speakers in the meeting said that post basic B.Sc., MSN/MPH, Ph.D., especially those who have received higher education, including diploma nurses, were treated with contempt, disdain, slander and misinformation through various departments and social media and the higher education and promotion of this large manpower who have made a huge contribution to the health sector. He strongly protested against the attempts to create chaos and anarchy in the nursing sector, preventing a vicious cycle in all areas including job permanence and regularization. Urgently demanded the re-formation of Bangladesh Diploma Nurses Association (BDNA) to take organizational, administrative and legal steps to stop the activities of this vicious circle and propaganda against all highly educated diploma nurses through social media.

The new Executive Council of Bangladesh Diploma Nurses Association (BDNA) was formed through the direct voice vote of all the leaders present in order to ensure the professional, social and educational future protection and development of the profession of all diploma nurses and diploma nursing students including high educated and equal demands of all. President said. Mostafizur Rahman, Secretary General SM Azad, Organizing Secretary – Md. Mostafizur Rahman Liton, treasurer. A 101-member Central Executive Council including Awlad Hossain, Office Secretary Niaz Makhdum, Publicity and Publication Secretary Bellal Hossain Sujan and 15-member Advisory Council was formed with Sabina Sharmin as the chief advisor.

The newly-elected Secretary General SM Azad requested the Diploma Nurses of all levels to extend their utmost cooperation in strengthening the Bangladesh Diploma Nurses Association (BDNA) to protect their professional, social and educational interests.
