Afif Hossain (39 runs from 22 balls), Mahmudullah (27 runs from 22 balls) and Mosaddek Hossain (unbeaten with 24 runs from 9 balls) continued to play at the end. Bangladesh scored 60 runs in the last 5 overs.
Among the Sri Lankan bowlers, Wanindu Hasaranga and Chamika Karunaratne took 2 wickets each.
