The last working day of the week in the country’s stock market ended on Thursday with rising indices. The DSEX index crossed 6500 points on the main market Dhaka Stock Exchange. On this day, the transaction decreased a little compared to the previous day, but the share and unit price of most companies increased.
According to the market review, the main index of DSE DSEX rose by 51 points to stand at 6,508 points. Besides, DSE Shariah index increased by 10 points to 1 thousand 409 points, DS30 index increased by 22 points to 2 thousand 305 points.
A total of 381 shares of companies were traded on DSE. Among them, 172 companies have increased their prices. Besides, the share price of 131 companies fell and the shares and units of 78 companies remained unchanged.
A total of 1 thousand 882 crore 36 lakh taka has been transacted in DSE. 2 thousand 5 crore 69 lakh was traded in DSE the previous day.
Meanwhile, in the other market Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), the main index CSCX rose by 85 points to 11,475 points. CSE overall index CASPI increased 141 points to 19 thousand 147 points, CSE30 index increased 123 points to 13 thousand 829 points.
Shares and units of 311 companies were traded on CSE. Among them, 158 prices have increased, 107 have decreased and 46 have remained unchanged. At the end of the day, shares and units of Tk 65 crore 43 lakh were traded in CSE.
