Child dies of heatstroke in Narsingdi tomorrow

A one-and-a-half-year-old child named Yasin died of heatstroke in Raipura, Narsingdi. The incident took place on Friday (April 26) at noon in Saudagar Kandir area of ​​Chanupur Union of the upazila.

Chanpur Union Parishad Chairman Abdul Momen Sarkar confirmed the matter. The deceased child is Yasin, son of Enamul Haque, a resident of Saudagar Kandi village of Chanpur union of the upazila.

Bachchu Mia, the deceased’s grandmother, said that on Thursday (April 25), we brought our daughter and grandson from Basail’s rented house in Narsingdi town to our village home Saudagar Kandi. And today my grandson died. He said that around 2:30 pm on Friday, Yasin collapsed on the ground due to excessive heat while having lunch with his mother. Later, when he was taken to the sub center of Union Family Planning Department in Saudagar Kandi, the in-charge pharmacist Mizanur Rahman declared him dead.

Pharmacist Mizanur Rahman, who is in charge of the sub center of Chanpur Union Family Planning Department in Saudagar Kandis, said that the baby Yasin died before he was brought to him. He said that according to those who brought him, the child died due to extreme heat.
