A private car driver named Ahsan Ali alias Hasan (40) died of heat stroke in Debiganj.

His burial took place on Friday (April 26) morning. Earlier on Thursday at 6 pm, Ahsan Ali suffered a heat stroke at the bank of Kaliganj Sukatu Main High School of Dandpal Union of the upazila. He later died on the way to the hospital.

Ahsan Ali, who died of heat stroke, is the son of late Hasem Ali of Telipara area of ​​Deviduba Union of Upazila. He was a private car driver of an organization called M/s Sabu Tedders in Kaliganj Bazar.

According to local sources, on Thursday afternoon, Ahsan Ali took the private car to the bank of Sukatu Main High School pond adjacent to Kaliganj Bazar. There he was washing the car and talking on the phone. When he suddenly felt sick, Ahsan Ali asked the people around him to catch him and collapsed. Locals rescued him and tried to heal him by pouring water on his head but he died on the way to Debiganj Upazila Health Complex.

The doctor on duty of Debiganj Upazila Health Complex’s emergency department confirmed the death due to heat stroke. Suraiya Saleha Mou said, ‘He was brought to the hospital on Thursday evening. An autopsy revealed that he had died. He is believed to have died of heat stroke.’

Paresh Chandra Roy, Chairman of Deviduba Union Parishad said, “A driver named Ahsan Ali suffered from heat stroke on Thursday evening. He later died on the way to the hospital. His burial was completed this morning.’
