46th BCS preliminary exam starts today

Desk Report: 46th BCS Preliminary Exam has started. The examination began on Friday (April 26) from 10 am in the eight divisional cities of the country, which will continue till 12 noon.
As per the instructions of PSC, the candidates entered the examination center by 9:30 AM. The main gate of the examination center was closed after 9:30 am. The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) gave several instructions to the examinees on the occasion of this examination. The institute issued the instructions through a notification. The notification said that the candidates should take their seats within 9:30 am. After that the gate of the examination center will be closed. It is further said that books, all kinds of watches, mobile phones, calculators, all kinds of electronic devices, any devices like bank/credit cards, jewelry, bracelets and bags are completely prohibited in the examination center. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination center with any prohibited items. Half a lakh students will take the exam in the field starting from Saturday, in the presence of the executive magistrate and police at the gate of the examination center, and the candidates will have to enter the examination center after checking their mobile phones, watches, electronic devices and other prohibited items with the help of metal detectors. Apart from this, all SMS will be sent to candidate’s mobile phone. Follow the SMS instructions. Candidates should not cover their ears during the examination, they should keep their ears open. If it is necessary to use any type of hearing aid in the ear, the permission of the commission must be obtained in advance along with the consultation letter of the expert doctor. If any of the candidates are found with these prohibited materials, it will be confiscated along with the cancellation of the candidature of the concerned candidate due to violation of the rules of Bangladesh Civil Service (Age, Eligibility and Examination for Direct Recruitment) Rules 2014. That candidate will be declared ineligible for the future recruitment examination of the Labor Commission.
