One of the two friends was dead while traveling on a motorcycle, the other was in the hospital

A young man named Md. Jasim Uddin returned as a dead body while traveling with a friend. In this incident, another friend named Abdu Sukkur is also injured and is suffering in the hospital. The deceased Md. Jasim Uddin is the son of deceased Amir Hamza of Ward No. 4 of Choufaldandi Union of Cox’s Bazar Sadar Upazila. The accident took place on April 24 (Wednesday) around 9:00 p.m. on the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway at the head of Jetty Road in Rashid Nagar Union of Ramu Upazila. Eyewitnesses said that the deceased Jasim and his other friend Sukkur were returning from Ramu towards Eidgaon on a motorcycle. As soon as it reached the spot, an unidentified bus traveling at a reckless speed towards Cox’s Bazar from the opposite direction rammed into a motorcycle. Jasim died on the spot. Pedestrians rescued the injured Sukkur and sent him to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital. However, the full identity of the injured pig was not found. Rezaul Karim, the cousin of the deceased, said that they two friends went for a ride on a motorcycle. Ramu met with an accident on his way home at night after enjoying the sights.
