On this day, I talked to Fahima Nasreen, a private employee, in the raw market of Shyamli. He told Sarabangla that after fasting, the prices of goods have started increasing again. Prices increase and we have to struggle to run our family with limited income. He expressed his regret and said that now the price of any thing starting from fish and meat does not decrease. The price is reduced only for people!

On this day beef is sold at Tk 750-800 per kg and Khasi at Tk 1050-1100 per kg. In various meat shops of West Agargaon, beef is sold at Tk 780-800 per kg.

However, beef is sold at the price of Tk 750 per kg in the raw market of Shyamli. Taufiq Mia, the meat seller of raw market in Shyamli told Sarabangla, today we are selling beef at the rate of Tk 750 per kg. When asked about selling at a slightly lower price than other traders, he said, “We make less profit.” So I can sell.

However, the price of all types of vegetables can be more or less up to Tk 10-20 depending on the market.
