Since the beginning of Baisakh, sometimes mild to moderate and sometimes severe to very severe heat waves are flowing over Chuadanga. However, the temperature of this district has broken all the records of the current season at 42.7 degrees Celsius. The heat wave is intense. The people of the district are suffering from continuous heat. In the unbearable heat, public life has become mundane.

At 3 pm on Friday (April 26), the regional meteorological observatory in Chuadanga recorded a temperature of 42.7 degrees. At that time the air humidity was 11 percent. Which is the highest temperature in the whole country till 3 pm.

Meanwhile, the heat of the sun has been spreading since the beginning of the day. As the day progressed, the heat became intense. All day long as fire falls from the sky. The fire blows in the air. There is less traffic on the road. Common people are desperate for the breath of summer.

Alamgir Alam, an Ezibakik driver in the city, said that flames appeared to be coming from the road. Again the sun overhead is heating everything up. Just driving a little makes you tired. They have to rest under the tree and start working again.

Meanwhile, the pitch of the road has started to melt in the heat of the sun. As the heat increases, the number of patients in upazila health centers including Chuadanga Sadar Hospital is increasing every day. Most of them are children.

Jaminur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Chuadanga Meteorological Office, said that an intense heat wave is flowing over Chuadanga. This situation may continue till April 30. However, there is no chance of rain or storm right now, said the three.
