2 people were killed in a truck-CNG collision on the Sylhet-Bholaganj Bangabandhu highway.
The accident took place at Gaurinagar area of Companyganj upazila on the highway at around 8:30 pm yesterday. 4 others were seriously injured. The names of the two deceased are Harunur Rashid and Partha Saha. Companyganj Police Station OC Golam Dastgir Ahmed said that the truck driver is absconding since the accident.
A father and son were killed in a road accident in Agardandi, Satkhira. Yesterday at 10:30 pm, they died on the spot in a collision between a trolley and a motorcycle near Agardari Madrasa in Sadar Upazila. The deceased are Hafizur Rahman and his son Azizur Rahman. Satkhira Sadar Police Station OC Nazrul Islam said that the dead bodies were recovered and sent to Satkhira Sadar Hospital morgue for postmortem.
