Meanwhile, candidates can enter the center from 8:30 am. Candidates must enter the center by 9:30 AM. No one will be allowed to enter the examination center thereafter.
As per the announced schedule, distribution of answer sheets will start at 9:30 AM. Besides, the question paper will be distributed at 10 am. No candidate can leave the center before 12 noon.
Instructions for candidates
According to the instructions of PSC, books, all kinds of watches, mobile phones, calculators, all kinds of electronic devices, any device like bank/credit card, jewelry, bracelets and bags are completely prohibited in the preliminary examination center. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center with prohibited materials.
Besides, the candidates should not cover their ears during the exam, they should keep their ears open. If it is necessary to use any type of hearing aid in the ear, the permission of the commission must be obtained in advance along with the consultation letter of the specialist doctor.
If a candidate is found with these prohibited items in the examination center, the candidate will be declared ineligible for the future employment commission examination along with cancellation of the candidature of the concerned candidate due to violation of the rules of Bangladesh Civil Service (Age, Eligibility and Examination for Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2014.
3 lakh 38 thousand applications have been submitted for the 46th BCS. Out of 3 thousand 140 posts in this BCS most will be taken in health cadre. Apart from this, 1 thousand 682 assistant surgeons, 16 assistant dental surgeons will be recruited. After that most will be taken in education cadre. 520 people will be recruited from this cadre for BCS education in various subjects. 274 people will be taken in administration, 10 in foreign affairs, 80 in police, 14 in Ansar, 26 in fisheries and 65 in public works.
