On Friday (April 26), it is known that the prices of daily necessities other than potatoes and soybean oil are stable in the grocery market after visiting various raw markets including Dhanmondi in the capital and talking to the sellers.
In the raw market of the capital, one can see that eggplant is 60 taka per kg, bitter gourd is 60 taka, papaya is 50 taka, green leaves are 50 taka, carrot is 60 taka, green pepper is 80 to 100 taka, each piece of gourd is 50 taka, cabbage is 40 taka and cauliflower is 40 taka, tomato. 35 to 40 taka, Chichinga 40, Shasha 40, Barabati 60, Dherash 40, Patal 50, Pumpkin 30 taka, raw mango is being sold at 80 taka.
Meanwhile, farmed Pangas at Tk 220 to Tk 230, tilapia at Tk 240, farmed horn at Tk 400 to Tk 450, roe at Tk 400 for large size, medium size at Tk 350, small size at Tk 200, kai at Tk 250, Pabda at Tk 450 to Tk 400, shrimp at Tk 800 to Tk 900. Taka, Katla fish is being sold for 350 to 400 taka.
800 taka of beef, 1100 taka of beef, 300 to 350 taka of golden chicken. Farm eggs are being sold at Tk 40 to Tk 42, domestic duck eggs at Tk 65.
Kabir Mia, a grocery shopkeeper in the capital’s New Market, told RisingBD that the price of potatoes is on the rise due to low supply. Now we have to sell at 55 to 60 taka.
Arian Sikdar, who came to shop at the Salek Garden market in Dhanmondi, told RisingBD, “We are somewhat dependent on broiler chicken meat.
