Dhaka: An unidentified (60) woman was killed in a road accident in Ghandaria Ghuntighar area of the capital.
The police confirmed the information on Friday (April 26).
Earlier, the accident took place on Thursday (April 25) around 3:30 p.m.
After the incident, the pedestrian who rescued the woman and brought her to the hospital said. Shaheen said that around 3:30 am, they found the woman lying in a bloody state on the road in Ghandaria Ghuntighar area. Many people are gathered around him. Then he took her by car to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. But the doctor declared him dead soon after taking him there.
He also said that no one in the vicinity could tell which car was causing the accident. No one could tell his identity. However, by looking at his clothes, it is assumed that he is a vagabond.
