46th BCS preliminary exam today

Dhaka: The 46th BCS Preliminary Exam is being held today (Friday). This exam of 200 marks will start at 10 am and will continue till 12 noon.

The examination will be held simultaneously in eight divisional cities of the country.

The preliminary examination of the 46th BCS was scheduled to take place on March 9, but the date was changed due to the city corporation elections.

In the divisional cities of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chittagong, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh, a total of 338,000 candidates are participating in the preliminary examination.

46th BCS notification published on 30th November 2023. Three thousand 140 people will be appointed in this BCS. Most will be taken in health cadre. 1 thousand 682 assistant surgeons will be recruited, and 16 assistant dental surgeons will be recruited.

520 will be taken in Education Cadre, 274 in Administration Cadre, 10 in Foreign Affairs, 80 in Police, 14 in Ansar, 26 in Fisheries and 65 in Public Works.

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has decided to release the results and hold the written test soon to make up for the loss caused by delaying the preliminary examination.
