wrestling: A journalist named Shariful Islam Sharif (34) died after being injured in a road accident in Kushtia.

He died at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital around 5 am on Friday (April 26) while undergoing treatment.

Sharif is the son of deceased Nader Ali Mandal of Gatepara village of Dhubail Union of Mirpur Upazila.

Sharif was the Mirpur upazila correspondent of Amar Sangbad newspaper published from Dhaka. He is survived by his wife and a son.

It is known that he was returning home on a motorcycle from Kushtia last Thursday (April 25). On the way, his motorcycle collided with a Pakhivan (three-wheeler) in front of JTI in Tantibandha area of ​​Kushtia-Meherpur regional road. He died while undergoing treatment there.

Sharif was not seriously injured. In this situation, local people rescued him and took him to Kushtia General Hospital. When his condition worsened, he was shifted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for better treatment. He died while undergoing treatment there.
