Today is the 46th BCS preliminary exam

The 46th BCS preliminary exam is going on simultaneously across the country. The examination started simultaneously in 215 centers of 8 divisional cities of the country at 10 am on Friday. This exam of 200 marks will continue till 12 noon. No one will be allowed to leave the center until the examination is over.

As per the exam schedule, candidates enter the center from 8:30 am. Candidates are allowed to enter the center till 9:30 am. Distribution of answer sheets started from 9:30 am and question papers were distributed at 10 am.

Meanwhile, the government has appointed one executive magistrate for each of the 96 examination centers in Dhaka to maintain order inside and outside the center during the examination.

Additional 10 BCS (Administration) cadre officers have been deputed as Executive Magistrates in the control room of PSC Secretariat.

The Public Service Commission (PSC) published the 46th BCS notification on November 30 last year. The BCS application is open until December 31. The application starts from December 10, which lasts until December 31. A little over 3 lakh 38 thousand applications have been submitted for the 46th BCS.

According to PSC notification, the number of vacancies in various cadres in 46th BCS is 3 thousand 140. Most of these will be taken in the health cadre. Also 520 people will be appointed in various subjects in education cadre.
