5 friends jump into Brahmaputra while doing Tiktok, one dies

A student named Masiur Rahman Huzzat (14) died after jumping into Brahmaputra river while playing Tiktok in Gafargaon, Mymensingh.

The deceased Mosiur Rahman is the son of Khalilur Rahman Rubel Master of Sadua village in Niguari Union of Huzzat Upazila. He was a ninth grade student of Rostam Ali Golandaz High School.

On Thursday (April 25) afternoon, the diving team of the fire service recovered the body of the missing student from the Collegeghat area of ​​the Brahmaputra river in the city.

According to the police and local sources, Masiur went to bathe in the Brahmaputra river with his friends without the knowledge of the family members. Meanwhile, five friends jumped down from the banks of the Brahmaputra one by one to record a TikTok video. Other friends were videotaping their jumps. Monsieur drowned in the water during one of the jumps. Not finding him, his friends kept shouting. After informing the local fire service, the diving team came to the spot and recovered his body after an effort of about one and a half hours.

In this regard, Gafargaon Fire Service Office Station Officer Ram Prasad Pal confirmed the matter and said that the body has been handed over to the police.
