Crime Sylhet Desk :: The police recovered the body of Amit Das Shibu, the computer operator of local daily Uttarpurba Patrika in Sylhet.

His body was found late on Thursday (April 26) in the back field of Hazaribagh area of ​​the city. On receiving the information, the SMP Airport police went to recover the body.

Officer-in-Charge (OC-Investigation) of SMP Airport Police Station, Debanshu Kumar Dey, who was at the scene of the body at around 2:21 PM, confirmed this information and said that his death appears to be mysterious. His used motorcycle was kept next to it.

The deceased Amit Das is the son of Shibu Gaur Chand Das. His village home is in Sunamganj. He lived with his family in Bagbari Narsing Tila area of ​​the city.

It is known that Amit Das was returning home after working at Uttarpurba Patrika office on Shibu night. After that local people saw the dead body at around 2:30 am and reported the incident to the police station. Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Azbahar Ali Sheikh, Deputy Commissioner (DB) Tahiyat Ahmad Chowdhury received the news.

Locals said that Amit Das Shibu’s motorcycle was kept nearby. He seems to have been dragged a bit. His used shoes were lying nearby. That’s why the death seems mysterious. Besides, his mobile phone is lost. There is a seed of death mystery in it.

SMP Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Azbahar Ali Sheikh said, we came to the spot after getting the information. The motorcycle was kept locked next to his body. His mobile was not found. But the last location of the mobile is showing on the spot. Shown at this place. However, no injury marks were found on his body. However, the police are still investigating the incident as mysterious.
