The 46th BCS preliminary exam is starting today Friday (April 26). This exam will run from 10 am to 12 noon. Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has given some instructions to the candidates on this occasion.

According to a circular of the institute, the candidates have to take their seats before 9:30 am. After that the gate of the examination center will be closed.

Books, all kinds of watches, mobile phones, calculators, all kinds of electronic devices, any devices like bank/credit cards, jewelry, bracelets and bags are strictly prohibited in the preliminary examination center. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center with prohibited materials.

Candidates have to enter the examination center by checking their mobile phones, watches, electronic devices and other prohibited items with the help of metal detectors and the entrance card in the presence of the executive magistrate and police at the gate of the examination center.

SMS will be sent to the mobile phones of all the candidates not to bring the mentioned prohibited items on the exam day. Follow the SMS instructions. Candidates should not cover their ears during the examination, they should keep their ears open. If it is necessary to use any type of hearing aid in the ear, the permission of the commission must be obtained in advance along with the consultation letter of the specialist doctor.

If any candidate is found with these prohibited items in the examination centre, the candidate will be declared ineligible for the future employment commission examination along with cancellation of candidature due to violation of the rules of Bangladesh Civil Service (Age, Eligibility and Examination for Direct Recruitment) Rules 2014.
