Nadia: A day ago, three youths died in a head-on collision between two bikes in Katwa. In the meantime, another terrible road accident happened near the IT Park on the Kalyani Expressway in Kalyani, Nadia. A father and son died in a collision between a bike and a four-wheeler. According to sources, Arup Kumar Das (46) of Kanchrapara, North 24 Parganas was going towards Buddha Park from JIS junction on a bike with his son Ayonak Das. The boy was returning home from tuition. He took the Kalyani Expressway. But, who knew that on the way there is a big danger for them to get there.

Eyewitnesses say that when Arup Babu was going, a four-wheeler was going towards Buddha Park. The four-wheeler suddenly lost control. Hit the bike straight. Arup Babu fell on the road with his son. Witnesses said he died on the spot. However, local residents quickly rescued him and his son and took them to the hospital. Doctors confirmed Arup Babu’s death there.

Even after the accident, Ionok was still alive. He was admitted to Kalyani JNM Hospital in bloody condition. But the end was not saved. The doctors declared him dead within a short time. The family is saddened by the incident.
