Saleh Imran: [২] The second phase of campaigning ended on Wednesday. Polling is being held in 12 constituencies of West Bengal and 89 constituencies of one union territory in this phase. Voting is being held in 20 constituencies in Manipur, 20 in Kerala, 14 in Karnataka, 13 in Rajasthan, eight each in Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra, seven in Madhya Pradesh, five each in Assam and Bihar, three each in West Bengal and Chhattisgarh and one each in Tripura and Jammu and Kashmir.

[৩] The three constituencies of West Bengal are Darjeeling, Balurghat and Raiganj.

[৪] 272 companies of central forces are being deployed to make the elections fair. Along with that there will be 13 thousand state police. Darjeeling has a staggering 739 booths. Central forces will be deployed there. The number of sensitive booths in Balurghach is 192. Central forces are also deployed here.

[৫] Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Shashi Tharoor, Lok Sabha Speaker BJP candidate Om Birla are fighting among the heavyweight candidates across the country in this second phase of polls.
