Magura: A head teacher of a secondary school died due to heat illness in Mohammadpur upazila.

The incident took place on Magura-Mohammedpur road in Kalukandi area of ​​Binodpur upazila on Thursday (April 25).

The head teacher’s name is Md. Yunus Ali (55). He was driving a motorcycle at the time of the incident.

Md. Yunus Ali was the head teacher of Digha Intaz Molya Secondary School in Upazila. His house is in Deuli village of Palashbaria union of upazila. But he lived in Mohammadpur Sadar.

According to the police, Yunus Ali was returning home by riding a motorcycle at noon. On reaching Kalukandi area on Magura-Mohammedpur road, he fell ill due to extreme heat. He fell on the road along with the motorcycle. Local people rescued him and sent him to Mohammadpur Upazila Health Complex. The doctor on duty declared him dead.

Mohammadpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Borhan Ul Islam confirmed this information.
