Relatives of the teenager severely beat up the doctor of the private nursing home. The teenager died after appendicitis surgery. The doctor was rescued by the police. According to police sources, Agnish Chakraborty (14), son of Sourav Chakraborty, a resident of Bhandarhati Benepara under Dhanekhali police station, is a student of eighth grade. Last Saturday, Agnis started having unbearable pain in his stomach. Showing the local doctor does not help. He was taken to Haripal Labor Hospital. Then the local homeopathy doctor was also shown. But the stomach ache did not subside. Unable to find a way, he was taken to Dhanekhali Hospital on Monday. The hospital informed that it was appendicitis, and surgery should be done quickly. Agnish was admitted to a nursing home in Srirampur around 12 noon on Tuesday. After ultrasonography, the doctor of the nursing home diagnosed the operation to remove the appendix. He was operated on at half past two. Around 4 pm, the nursing home informed the family that Agnish is fine. At eleven o’clock on Wednesday, Agnish’s family went to the nursing home to see him. Agnish talks to his mother. After some time, emergency doctors said that the patient’s condition is not good. After some time, it was reported that Agnish had died. After that, the family of the dead teenager erupted in protest. A doctor named Sujoy Mahanti said he would perform surgery on Agnish. Doctor Rubel Ganguly performed the surgery instead. The family of the dead teenager started arguing with the doctor Mahanti. He was severely beaten by his hair. The family of the deceased alleged that the doctor was always drunk. The police force of Srirampur police station reached the nursing home after receiving the news. The doctor was rescued and taken to the police station. On behalf of the family, a complaint has been lodged with the Srirampur police station against the doctor and the nursing home authorities.
