‘The lynching is tragic, the culprits will be brought under maximum punishment’

Fisheries and Livestock Minister Abdur Rahman said that the incident of two construction worker brothers being beaten to death in Madhukhali Panchpally of Faridpur on suspicion of setting fire to the clothes of the idol is sad and heartbreaking. Several people involved in this incident have been arrested. An operation is underway to arrest the rest. Exemplary punishment of the guilty will be executed on the soil of Bengal. Seeing that no one will have the courage to commit such a crime in the future.

The minister said these things while meeting the family of the deceased Sahdar at Naopara Choperghat village of Madhukhali upazila of Faridpur on Wednesday (April 24) evening.

The minister also said, however, there may be some other conspiracy behind this incident. Therefore, who did this plot and why is being investigated. They wanted to create another incident by blocking the highway on Tuesday and attacking the police over this incident. This country is Bangladesh of communal harmony, no one will be victimized. The administration will investigate and bring all the culprits under the law.

Later he visited Krishnanagar Panchapally School and Temple in Dumaine Union, the site of the incident.

District Commissioner Kamrul Ahsan Talukder, Superintendent of Police Mohammad Morshed Alam, District Awami League President Shamim Haque, General Secretary Ishtiaq Arif and other officials of various departments were present.

It is to be noted that on the night of April 18, two workers were killed in a fight in the school room by some people who were suspiciously angry about the incident of idol burning in Krishnanagar village of Dumain Union in Madhukhali Upazila of Faridpur.
